Website for Marketing Consultant

Nicole was a busy marketing consultant who primarily worked with corporate clients. As a woman among many male clients, she felt called to bring the knowledge of using AI for marketing to women in business. And in 2022 she needed a website to represent her new business endeavor.

Nicole wanted a simple, clean site that was professional, yet feminine to act as the “storefront” or “office” for her new brand and AI marketing membership for women entrepreneurs like herself. Because she taught an emerging technology, she wanted something modern but not intimidating.

I built her site in WordPress using Elementor and a fast-loading, minimalist Astra theme. The color palette was red, black, and a very light purple to evoke a powerful, yet soft look and feel. The fonts blended classic Baskerville for headings with a modern, easy-to-read touch of Montserrat for subheadings and content text. Buttons and images were rounded to soften the look and give more modernity. The photos used were chosen to reflect ease and inclusivity.

I wrote the website copy in a professional, yet welcoming tone. I researched SEO phrases using Answer The Public to discover questions the target audience naturally asks about using AI tools for marketing. I used the top questions I found to write 5 SEO-optimized blog posts to help get organic traffic to the site.

Overall, I felt this piece was a great starter site that could easily be adjusted to grow with the brand. I would have liked to write longer, more informative blog posts for the site, however, the client insisted on using AI tools to help write the articles with minimal adjustments.

Here’s what my client had to say

“I run two digitally-based business. There is no office to welcome my new clients, so I needed a place online that would represent my brand. Sharon has helped me position myself as a thoughtful, detail-oriented consultant that cares about the finer details. All of which has led to more people reaching out for my services. Thanks for all that you do!”
